Rantoul is about seven miles north of Champaign. I flew up there at the end of October and the class normally lasted 12 weeks so that would put me missing, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years with my family. Once we got to the first class, I found out the class was the self-pace kind. Once we took a pre-test to see if we knew the material, we could test out of that phase. I heard that my record was broken three weeks later when a woman who had been working in the field twelve years did it in five weeks and one day.
