We took hikes, we went swimming and bathed each other. We frolicked with the pups. It was nothing for a deer family to come down and drink from the shallows while all five of us were there. Bev would always go up to them and pet them. Chipmunks, squirrels, a couple of badgers. All came up to us, either on the ground or a nearby branch. More birds were visible than usual. None of them seemed afraid of the wolves and the wolves weren't aggressive at all. Well, maybe a little too. Doesn't happen often, but I'm glad it did that night. We traded a few songs, alternating fast and slow each time. After they finished a chorus version of 'I Love You Always Forever' by Donna Lewis, I stepped up to the mike and asked for requests.Surprisingly, most of the people wanted some slow music to dance to.
